Catherine Sutherland Instagram – My darling girl celebrated prom this weekend and I am feeling it all! I don’t think your heart is ever prepared for this moment. It’s a weird sensation of complete joy and complete despair. For 18 years, you’ve held this life in your hands, and now you are sending them off into the unknown . I am so honored to be her mother. It is a gift and a privilege I cherish every day. I catch myself walking past her room, preparing myself for her absence. I am so excited for this next chapter for her, but sad to think she won’t be in my home every day. I know you senior mom’s are feeling it too! It’s a roller coaster of emotions. It’s not the end it’s the beginning of the next chapter. There is so much to look forward to and we have to remember that.
