A @makeawishamerica dream come true in so many ways! We were so happy to host @space_captain_carswell and their family at the Dead Meat home/studio, and in return, we fell so in love with a family that we now cherish as dear friends. I love how much horror has helped this family through difficult times- I never thought about how gore and body horror could make surgeries and medical procedures feel less alien, but it makes so much sense. It’s another reason why this genre is truly such a special one. Carswell is currently studying film, and they’re going to be a creative force to be reckoned with. Keep a lookout 👀
