Incredible day yesterday as Her Majesty the Queen opened the ONE THOUSANDTH primary school library in @literacy_trust truly wonderful #librariesforprimaries campaign! So much has been achieved in only three years… and it is so vital and urgent, because 1 in 7 schools have no library and that figure roses to 1 in 4 for children in disadvantaged areas…ALL children deserve the same life chances, and the aim of the campaign is that no child in this country should grow up without a library in their primary school #magicisforEVERYONE (First two photos by the amazing @weshootLondon)
