Darin J. Sallam wrote and directed the breakthrough award-winning feature ‘Farha’ – a film about how one girl’s dream is shattered by the 1948 Nakba. Following the film’s release on Netflix, the Israeli government rallied for it’s ban. Here Darin talks to Sarah about this moment, the production and the significance of cultural resistance.
