I was honored to get to thank students across our country for their incredible leadership through the hate that has been targeted at them and to share this message: For thousands of years, Jewish activism has also meant being Jewish openly and proudly. Keep going. Continue standing tall in your identity and in your fight back against anyone who tries to challenge your faith or your homeland’s right to exist. You represent the best of us, and it is an honor to stand with you and say thank you. I know what you are facing is hard. I know your friends’ abandonment is heartbreaking. I know the actions of these radicalized mobs are infuriating. If I leave you with anything today, I want you to know you are not alone. Millions of us worldwide are wrapping our arms around you, profoundly grateful and moved by your courage and leadership.
