Winning the glitterball with @carlmullan on Sunday night was honestly the most surreal experience I’ve had to date! Having danced basically my whole life and working so hard over the last 6 years of @dwtsirl … this moment meant the absolute world to me ♥️
Having been a finalist on 3 occasions, I genuinely considered that winning just might never be an option. But my dreams became a reality on Sunday. 7 year old me dancing in my local community centre would not believe 19 years later I’d be lifting the DWTS glitterball.
Now to the main event of this caption… @carlmullan! Carl is genuinely the most hardworking individual I’ve ever come across. 5am – 9pm every single day, straight from his breakfast radio show to rehearse endlessly without ever complaining. We laughed… like so much, it was the most fun I’ve ever had on a season of DWTS. The dancing, rehearsals, VTs and Sundays in the studio were filled with constant enjoyment.
Carl YOU deserve this win so much. You’ve proven to yourself how capable you are, so back yourself for ever now because WE all are backing YOU!! You’re an absolute inspiration to so many people young & old I don’t think you even know how inspiring you are.. and on top of it all you’re just a bloody lovely person!!!
Thankyou to the show @dwtsirl for giving me the opportunity every year to come back and do what I love & Thankyou to all the producers, creatives, the celebs, fellow dancers & just every single person on the show!
