Emma Dabiri Instagram – Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and recognised as one of best books of the 21st century, it was something of a pinch me moment when I was approached to write the introduction for the publication of this beautiful @foliosociety special edition of Colson Whiteheads Underground Railroad.
The history in this brilliant book certainly does not make for a light read, but the storytelling is exquisite and god knows is it a necessary one.
