Erin Lee Carr Instagram – right: me on may 1, 2024. left: me at the peak of my illness in 2017. i finally got really good health news (knock on wood). i’ve mentioned before but i went through a horrible freak health accident that had years of consequences. in 2018, i took a breathing test, we knew it was going to be bad but didn’t know how bad. it came back and it said that i had 39% lung capacity. my doctor said i should meet with the transplant team and start the process. i did and i begged the doctors and the universe to keep me from having to do this. i immediately got out of the cold weather and drove to florida and sat as still as possible in the sunshine. i went to doctors, i took the medicine, i used my oxygen tank and crystals and did acupuncture. and somehow, over the years a sort of miracle happened. i got better, through sheer dumb luck and finally have made it back to having 71% lung capacity. wow. thanking the universe for letting me live in an independent way. sometimes stuff does not work out but sometimes it does. feeling so grateful. | Posted on 05/May/2024 21:36:33
