Did you know this castle was once home to one of Scotlandās most remarkable Arctic explorers, botanists and authors, Isobel Wylie Hutchison? I didnāt!
Every year, Carlowrie Castle honours her memory by presenting The Isobel Award to an individual or group who has overcome adversity and made a positive impact on their community.
This year I get to be part of this special event and I canāt wait!
