It’s brutal doing back to back nights where no one sleeps and then having to get up and go to work. Not to mention how torn you feel leaving your babe when they’re not 100%.
Luckily we have the most supportive family network around us that have looked after her during the day, given us much needed respite and helped with the extra loads of washing (!).
I know not everyone has their familes living close by – so I truly solute anyone who solo parents or brings up babies without extended family near. Coping with the unexpected is tough!
I’m hoping we are now through the worse of it, but if anyone has any tips on how we can get her sleeping back in her cot instead of on us then please do share 🙏 | Posted on 01/Nov/2022 21:33:34
