Gillian Anderson Instagram – I’ve been travelling over the past week but have had this wonderful novel for company during the in-between times: Green Dot is a sparkling debut – laugh out loud funny and achingly sad. I loved spending time with main character Hera, a queer woman who tries a straight relationship, falling for a man at work who, yep, is married, and can’t or won’t leave his wife. There are so many brilliant one-liners as Hera makes us consider that age-old question: why we do something even though we know we shouldn’t? @madeleine_gray_ is a dazzling writer – just a huge talent.
