Haley Bennett Instagram – “What is Borderlands Hiding” 🥸🧐😂🤫 “I care because I love her work in a lot of movies, but I’m an outlier. I consider Bennett to be one of the unluckiest working actors today. I’m a big fan of hers, but few casual moviegoers have heard of her or would even recognise her, and it feels like Borderlands keeping her as a surprise package is a continuation of her failing to get any real recognition.” I see you The Gamer 👍🏻 I loved working with @EliRoth and Team @Borderlands. I hope you dig my lil’ contribution in this epic, flat gonzo world Eli created. To grace the screen with this talent, not least Cate, was pretty 🤩
Haley Bennett Instagram – A poem I wrote, I want to share with you, now, entitled Lullaby Birdie. I buried the songstress in me  that defenceless birdie.  The lullabies I sang became tattered, muddied, soiled in black, time passed, I lost my wings.  My grandaddy,  befofe we lay him down to rest,  he told me “don’t keep everything, so close to the vest.  Use your voice, do your best”. I remember, that December,  long ago.  I sang “so long, so long,  the last gentleman I’ll ever know.”  As God as your witness,  heaven from up there  you must’ve seen my soul  as it suffered and deadened.  Caged with shame,  battered to bruised,  nothing to see or hear the cry of another forgotten muse.  Granddaddy, i’ve been silently sobbing, “your little birdie never took flight”  I felt your hands on me, Yesterday “you are good, you’re are safe  don’t let your voice, go to waste your songs will mend the hearts of children” “Which ones, grand daddy” a voice from within.  “which children? the child within me?  The child in them? I’ve seen so much, I know too much and worse, i’ve committed sin.  my heart, it’s been crushed where would I begin?”  He replied “We are all sinners, hypocrites” Then appeared the shape of an instrument.  A violin…A sitar… No, just that simple man’s old guitar His voice replied, “I’ve removed its tar, replaced it with the moon and the stars.” Northern light, weary travellers delight,  colours danced-the sky- land beneath my feet, she began to weep.  “I am fertile, destined to grow Sow your your seeds, nourish me.  Use your voice, never for profit.  Your instrument is a tonic, it will lend.  To the child in you, to the child in them.  Sing,little birdie, if only just a lullaby.
