As we approach the commemoration of the 76th year of the continuous Nakba, the atrocities unfolding in Rafah today are part of the Zionist project’s long-standing history of murder, destruction, dispossession, and displacement beginning before 1948.
The city of Rafah in Gaza was first invaded in 1948 and has been an ongoing site of colonial Zionist aggression ever since. Do not be fooled by President Biden’s criticism of a “full scale” military action in Rafah; there is no such thing as partial colonization.
