Screening mammography is one of the most effective ways to detect breast cancer in the early stages, which significantly increases survival rates. But you have to go and get the screenings that are widely available and accessible. I’m learning as I go, and I want to talk about it. From annual screening, to uncertainties in screenings, to dense breast tissue, high-risk histories, genetic testing, and the like, but staying on top of your scheduled screenings is the very best start.
