Imelda May Instagram – I’m so sad to hear of the recent passing of my friend and guitar genius Duane Eddy.
He created the most badass guitar sound
that has influenced so many.
What a life he had and with his beloved Dee Dee by his side. He was a true gentlemen and one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. His charisma was so intense he hardly had to move for his presence to be felt.
His playing said it all. Total Legend.
I send my love to Dee Dee, his family, friends and his many fans. How lucky we are that his music will outlive us all.
