“The Reckoning, the BBC drama about Jimmy Savile, tackled an incredibly difficult but important subject. I was acting opposite Coogan as Savile [for a scene of sexual abuse with two schoolgirls]. He didn’t stay in character in between takes. Instead, he was very much there, making sure I was comfortable with everything. It was a masterclass in acting in such a safe environment,” said Pappas
