Jade Tailor Instagram – This is one of my favorite photos of all time with my favorite person… this is my Savta (Grandma). She was many things, but first and foremost the best human on the planet, the most loving figure, the matriarch of the family, and the best Grandma anyone could ever wish for. On top of that, she was a healer and doctor who saved the lives of probably thousands during 1940-45, and she was a Holocaust survivor.
To be as loving and wonderful as she was while having endured and overcome more than most, including things no human ever should is a true miracle… and here we see her holding my hand and lifting me up as she always did, just as she continues to do so in spirit and in my heart.
