Big Food employs scientists and food engineers to design cheap “food product” to hit your “bliss point.” These products trigger chemicals in the brain that increase the desire to continue to consume past the point of satiety. The result of this engineered addiction is obesity and diabetes (among other chronic diseases). Then, Big Pharma comes in to save the day with semaglutide products like Ozempic that suppress appetite through fooling the body that’s there actual food in it. Who wins and who loses?
