That sure was evident in the video for Real Love, the first single from her second album. The video fit the song perfectly. I’d say it’s probably my favorite video of hers.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ For the week ending May 20, 1989, Real Love began a two week run at a peak of #2 on the #billboardhot100 chart. It hit #1 on the r&b and dance charts.
