Julia Holter Instagram – i have a new song to share called “Sun Girl”. was curious about embodying some kind of a mystical playfulness, and, in doing things like recording myself repeatedly hitting the table with my iphone and sampling it, it brought me into a production style that reminds me of some of my earliest stuff (“Coyotes of the Canyon”? lol). some poetic focus here on rerouting the neural pathways, pushing out into the unknown, playfulness and chaos. Excited to share this song with a beautiful animated video by the great Tammy Nguyễn
