Kausar Mohammed Instagram – This past Friday, @amaliamegusta and I went to our alma mater to support the encampment. I have never been prouder of my UCLA. I kept tearing up because of the beauty of the space, the community care in action, and seeing people pray together at a protest. It was PEACEFUL and moving. Then, later in the weekend, counter protestors showed up on campus to defend Isr**l’s genocide of 🍉 People, and have been harassing, attacking, and harming students. Last night, they lit fireworks into the students encampment and attacked them with bear spray (slide 6). And somehow, in some way, our media and politicians are calling our students — who ALL OVER THE WORLD, are standing up for Palestine — calling them “terrorists”. Whats it gonna take to STOP THE GENOCIDE and hold perpetuators of violence accountable, here — and abroad? Sending strength and solidarity to our students all over the word, we are with you.
