Kavita Seth Instagram – Kavita Seth has released a stunning rendition of Musarrat Nazir’s “Gulshan Ki Baharon Mein,” originally composed by Nisar Bazmi. Although Musarrat was predominantly celebrated for her Punjabi songs, her Urdu songs and ghazals also received equal admiration from those who have ears for music. This song is from “meri pasand” by Musarrat. I had been gatekeeping this song for years but then so glad to see Kavita singing it.
Kavita, renowned for her soulful performances of all the ghazals in “A Suitable Boy” for Tabu’s character Saeeda Bai, does seleced numbers but always leaves an impression.
