I used this strategy, and it never worked. The truth is, even if I had all of your information, I would need to meet with you IN PERSON multiple times and develop a relationship with you. I would need to understand your spending behavior, how your mind works, your relationship with money, childhood money traumas and experiences, future plans and any changes (which is impossible since the future hasn’t happened yet), your psychological attitude towards money, and so much more before I could even begin to create a budget that would work for you. To do this for one person would consume most of my time, but it would be impossible, in my opinion, to do it for multiple people.
