Oh, April! We…
…finished and shot our #ChurchLaneProject where we used the new line of cabinet fronts I designed for @semihandmade!!! (Coming out SOON!)
… We installed the sweetest nursery for my sister-in-law and soon to be niece using all my new pieces designed for @crateandkids
… We went to @highpointmarket to speak on a panel with @joannagaines @brigetteromanek and @amberinteriors! (Ever heard of them?!? 😉) We met and fell in love with @jeanstofferdesign and family. And celebrated 20 years of @loloi rugs with a little @leonbridgesofficial!
… Then we hoped on a plane and headed to NYC to start a very special project for a dear friend WITH a dear friend, @amyneunsinger
… Then we rallied the troops again and hopped on another plane to Texas to start ANOTHER personal project that I am incredibly excited to tell you all about with my dear friend @astoriedstyle (It’s basically old windows and giggles all day, every day with us.) This one is gonna be MAGICAL.
… And to top it all off we headed home and my junior high self became the happiest girl in the world when I got to spend the day with THE @indiahicksstyle as her self appointed tour guide around Pittsburgh for the day!
WHAT. A. MONTH! Pinch me. (Now off to bed.… girl needs a nap.)

As a creative, I’m inspired by everything and everyone. Music, people, places, BOOKS — you just gotta look up and the world is full of inspiration. I love reading musicians’ autobiographies. “Born to Run,” by Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon’s book, and Patti Smith’s “Just Kids,” are books I always find myself going to because they get my brain thinking bigger, more creatively and just in new ways. Totally unrelated, but still the same thing.
There’s an old saying about the bed, the bath and the bus and that’s where all our good ideas come, and it is so true: give me a bath, a nap or a road trip any day.
