Lexi Brumback Instagram – Super late to post a worlds dump, but I’ve been thinking a lot about cheer and what I want to share about my experience. Going in to this past year, I was fully retired (for about 3 years) so I was hesitant to come back because I truly thought my passion for being on the mat was gone (I was also SUPER out of shape lol). This past season changed all of that though, I rediscovered my love for this sport and all the growth it brings, both physically and mentally. I had never gotten to be a part of such an amazing all-star team, so for me, I got to experience a whole new perspective into this world. I was planning on retiring again after this past season, but I just don’t feel satisfied with the outcome of everything. My stunt fell day 2 of worlds (the day that mattered the most) and I feel the need to redeem myself. Even though it was my first season the mat as a flyer, I didn’t come this far just to get this far. I worked my ass off from the bottom to doing the hardest stunt in our division just within a few months. And I’d hate for my last performance to be one I’m not proud of. I have so much more to prove, and I’m going to do it. Don’t know what team I’ll hit the mat with next, but just know I’m coming back hungrier than ever 😋🍽️ . . . #cheer #worlds2024 #smoed #calismoed #cheerleading #comeback
