Lilián García Instagram – We all know by now that life will throw us some curve balls. That’s why it’s important to be grounded. Unfortunately, when I got thrown my curve balls of losing my parents, my marriage, financial hardship due to the pandemic, my voice, etc…I wasn’t grounded so it sent me into a deep sense of depression, loss, and confusion. But with just one decision, everything changed. My friend offered to introduce me to @marinerschurch and I said yes. As soon as I heard the worship music, I wasn’t the same. Something inside of me awakened. I had faith again. And the more I dove into Gods word and into the community, the more alive I became. To say I’m not the same person as I was back at the end of 2021 when I walked through those doors so broken, is an understatement. That’s why this weekend is so bittersweet because as I leave California and transition into my new chapter, it will also be my final weekend singing @marinersirvine with the worship team that has become my extended family. I will forever be grateful for all the healing this place has provided me and all the beautiful friendships I formed. It was also a beautiful gift to discover my true passion of singing for Jesus. 🙏🏼 As this chapter comes to a close this weekend, I am honored to sing “Goodness of God” with the amazing @izziray . She is someone that made me stop in my tracks when I first heard her voice. I have learned so much from her and best of all, she is a total sweetheart of a person. 🥰 So, if you are around Southern California, make sure to come out and join us for a powerful weekend.
