Mary Stuart Masterson Instagram – This evening, I am celebrating the privilege I had to know Chita Rivera: the most vital person I have ever met. It is honestly hard to believe she could be not alive. I choose to deny it. Because her radiance lives on. Her million watt smile and that laugh… such a privilege to have worked with her on Broadway in the 2003 revival of Nine! On her 70th birthday, I asked her what was her secret? She said, “I don’t give a shit what anybody thinks of me anymore. I’m having the time of my life”. Amen. These photos (apart from Elle magazine), were taken by the lovely @eligonda during rehearsal.
