I had a lot on my mind and shoulders to unload today and training was just what I needed. This is 135lbs.
Police tear-gassing, assaulting, and arresting protestors is very triggering for me. And around campus is a minefield. Egyptian riot police broke my arms and sexually assaulted me literally within arms length of the university campus I went to for four years. I was on the frontline of a protest not on campus but on the street that was right next to campus.
I’ve been feeling hyper vigilant at the sound of helicopters and sirens and hate this fascist fuckery.
Nobody should be assaulted and dragged away for protesting.
