Natalia Safran Instagram – Sundays feel like the best day for a Nun 2 post 🙂 Today I’d like to shed light on the practical way we shot almost all of the film – as in filming real physical components instead of creating them via CGI. @thenunmovie has some visual effects in it of course, but they were used to enhance some scenes and not to replace actual shots. A ton of meticulous work was done by all during prep, by the amazing Nun 2 art department, props, etc etc. Many are shocked to hear that, presuming it was CGI effects, but we like as much in the Conjuring Universe as possible to be real and true and @michaelchaves is a meticulous and daring director. Hope you’ve enjoyed all the Nun 2 action on the screen, whether you thought it was practically filmed or CGI 😌
