For years, I resisted all attempts to join some creepy algorithm promising me lots of followers (bots) and just kept my little account for important things such as promoting small businesses ideas and adoption fundraisers. And now today, @meta was in my search bar huh?? And I asked it how to get rid of it and it now shows me it wants $14.99 a month for the verified blue check. @zuck do you need money? Suddenly @meta is feeling like a scam where anyone can buy validity … which is a dangerous game. On Twitter I easily impersonated Musk for a full day before quitting. 🤣🤣🤣 what idiocy
