Beautiful doesn’t have to be whole
I can have a broken wing
I can even have a hole.
The hole is where light gets in
Without it how can I receive?
If I fool myself I’m complete
I might as well pack up and leave.
Let’s start by showing what’s empty
It’s where desire begins
And even if damaged or broken
I’ll keep on flapping my wings.
