It sadly took the heart wrenching, video of @cassie for us as a community to stand up and shout PROTECT OUR WOMAN when we could’ve done something about this when it occurred instead of selling the video to the abuser !!! as a woman who has survived SA, DV and years mental and emotional abuse by the hand of someone who I let into my life doesn’t mean I or another person deserves to be treated like dirt. What’s even more unfortunate and bothers my soul until this day is the fact that I was screaming HELP as she was and it fell on deaf ears because my abuser was a man in position, a man in power and a man with physical strength that feared SO IN TURN I, WE BECOME COLLATERAL DAMAGE. So when someone tells you they are being abused it’s better to believe them then to deny, or blame or accuse them of being the problem, especially because the man is one of power, a friend , a business associate, and you are more concerned with losing your money than a woman losing her life !!!! As far as I’m concerned THE ONLY MAN OF POWER IS MY GOD!!!!
