Saba Douglas-Hamilton Instagram – AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!! One of my dearest friends is looking (again!) for a qualified primary school teacher who’s up for an adventure! To home-school two gorgeous, bright children, aged 6 & 8 – both of whom are my god-daughters – in an inspired, creative environment on one of the most beautiful wildlife conservancies in Laikipia, Kenya.
There’s lots of fun to be had there with tons of hiking, rock climbing, river-gorge exploring and mountain-biking, amidst an abundance of wildlife from elephants and lions to leopard, buffalo and newly discovered species of frogs and butterflies.
If you know a teacher that’s fully qualified with the IB PYP or British curriculum, who would be excited to live ‘in the bush’ for a year, then please spread the word. Creative teaching methods and an imaginative outlook essential! Second language and musical talent a bonus. Nature-oriented, sunshiny character much appreciated. Job runs from early September 2024 to end June 2025.
