Sally Phillips Instagram – I’m excited to be heading back to college on Monday to speak at my former university. The student-run Oxford Biological Society have invited me to talk about how sexist bias has shaped evolutionary biology, leaving the female of the species marginalised and misunderstood. The students tell me they are still being taught androcentric paradigms and are keen to hear fresh perspectives. It will be a bitter sweet trip down memory lane for me. These pictures were taken 10 years ago when I finally graduated and picked up my Masters alongside my fellow former students and New College ‘family’ – the brilliant @sallysmack , @damien.timmer and the irreplaceable @searchjess . Oxford provided me with an incredible eduction, but even more amazing friendships. I just wish we were all able to be together on Monday 🖤 but I know Jess will be with me in spirit – as proud as I am to be spouting feminist truths at Oxford. Come join me at 7pm at Merton College.
