Sandrine Holt Instagram – Christiane Anita Nicolette was born December 25, 1948 in Sarreguemines, France. She loved music and parties. She passed away suddenly September 24th a few days after attending her last party. The last years of her life were spent catching up on experiences she missed out on while being a young mother and wife. This last Mother’s Day we spent together she forgot what name she had put her reservation under. I asked her why she didn’t just use her real name? She shrugged and said “ Sometimes I feel like being different people.” She described herself as eccentric in her last chapter and never judged others. I admired her don’t give a fuck attitude. She was always for the underdog and kind to those who were misunderstood. And she did leave behind a few broken hearted admirers… She was cremated in Toronto September 30th. My father, sister and I spread her ashes in Vancouver October 2nd. My mother loved all things esoteric… so now she knows what’s behind the veil!
