Sara Watkins Instagram – 2/3 and 3/3 of learning “Going Out” back in December. I made this first clip for Sean and Chris because I was proud to have made strides on something that had previously felt beyond my abilities (see 1/3 in this series). 3/3 is a good version of the part. (Always room for improvement of course:). The part is still challenging, I imagine I will be giving the pitch regular tune-ups (especially that sung G note while playing F#) for the duration of the tour. But is really satisfying when I get it right! It feels good to post this sort of stuff and hear that it’s encouraging or enlightening to some! Really excited to play all this stuff on TOUR!!!!
