It is our great pleasure to announce Nickel Creek’s fifth studio album, “Celebrants,” an 18 track exploration of togetherness to be released in totality on March 24th! If you happened to log into one of the live streams we did early in 2021, you saw us at the very beginning of the process. There were many trips across the country to write and make demoes, a constantly evolving shared-note of lyrics, and life-affirming collaboration with heroes @mikeelizondojr on bass and Eric Valentine (@nerdentine) in the producer’s (and engineer’s) chair, culminating in four weeks at RCA Studio A in Nashville. As much fun as we’ve had making music together over the years, this project broke the joy meter.
