I used to ask myself when learning about the holocaust, when learning about Slavery how could people let this happen? How can so many people applaud this death and side with the ones killing these people and how could others be indifferent or silent. Now I know exactly how. If You look at any ethnic cleansing or genocide in history it always started slow. Years of slow killings and torture, years of planning, segregation, beatings, etc. Also always made to be the fault of the victims themselves and trying to get support from other leaders and the general public to make those people look like animals so you would also agree they need to be exterminated. Making you feel like if they don’t go your life is in danger. There are a few things that people have told me that felt like a straight knife to my heart. 1. Palestinian Children are literally shot or blown up live streamed and people still blame Palestinians for their own death. 2. Genocide deniers. 3. “If we don’t kill them they will kill us” .
