Sarah Ferguson Instagram – This #Earthday I’m proud to shine a light on the wonderful work being done by @greenbrunei and my friend @hzrhsfn. Green Brunei is a youth-led organisation that promotes environmental sustainability through education, conservation and advocacy. Green Brunei has collaborated with Brunei LNG SDN BHD on three occasions to conduct coastal cleanups in the Tutong and Belait districts. These initiatives seek not only to foster cleaner, healthier beaches but also to promote awareness of the critical importance of preserving Brunei’s invaluable natural resources to the 600 individuals who took part including children from local primary and secondary schools. Throughout these three events, a total of 1489.4 kg of rubbish was collected. It’s so important and inspiring to see these initiatives led and supported by the next generation of leaders.
