Sarah Lian Instagram – Here’s a day in the life which involves healthy eating and walking Jessie. I’ve been exploring a device that monitors blood glucose continuously to help manage my Type 2 Diabetes. This is what I’ve learnt about managing my condition from the process :

-Pricking doesn’t give you much information if your sugar levels are climbing or dropping

-To get a proper assessment you should look at your lifestyle for a week

-I need to exercise every time I have a meal to reduce glucose levels, even a 5 min brisk walk can help

-Rice is my killer. I need to eat lots of fiber if I want to reduce the impact of this carb

-Intermittent fasting has really helped reduce the spikes and it works for me
