I have been a member of @sagaftra since 1998. I remember by father taking me to pay my first dues. This union has helped support me for so many years, from making sure everyone is taken care of properly on set to keeping track of residuals checks. The pride I felt walking today with my fellow actors and @wgastrikeunite @wgawest writers is everything. I get it, the economics have changed, technology is moving too fast, but one thing that will not change is the soul of the artist. The desire, experience and talent to tell stories begins right here. No computer will ever replace what we can do. So let’s find a path to make the economics work & take care of the talented humans that have worked for so long in this biz so we can all thrive & live a life of creativity as well.
