I know only three women from Pakistan: Malala Yousafzai, @ericarobin_official with whom I did a fashion show and is my fellow @amatoofficial baby and now @shafinashah_official all brave, brilliant and beautiful in their own right.
@shafinashah_official of Pakistan is a first-time representative of her country in @universalwomanofficial and so am I for the Philippines. 🤍 I won’t lie, I was anxious at first to find out who my roomie would be, but as early as the first night we just clicked. We wasted no time getting into meaningful conversations about EVERYTHING under the sun. That and the moment I saw the whey shaker on the counter, I knew we would get along. She is a strong woman with such a brilliant mind, and my journey with her alongside me was made even more meaningful.
I wish you only the best Shaf, as you continue your work in Pakistan with communities and children with cleft pallet. The work you do makes this world a better place. 🤍 and I’m grateful to be part of your story. You’ve shown me firsthand how true queens fix each other’s crowns from start to finish. ✨
