Shandi Finnessey Instagram – Today is Day 1 of our 40 day Digital Detox lead by our church. Had to make a final post before going silent so I dont come back from the break to a bajillion messages asking if everything is ok and why am I not posting. So here it is. We are disconnecting from social media, television and basically any digital device that is a distraction from LIFE for the Lenten season. We did this for the first time last year and were amazed at how our kids chose to spend the time… outside in nature, building forts, creating art projects, using their imaginations… learning, exploring, creating. So we are thrilled to see the connections that come from these 40 days. More time with friends, more time talking and connecting, more time reading and relaxing.
