Shandi Finnessey Instagram – Date night with the hubs. We’ve only been together for 11 years, married for 9… but we’ve done SO MUCH in that amount of time! We’ve moved 3 times, bought 2 homes (one of which moved us across the country), had 3 babies, bought 10,000 fur babies (ok, not quite but it seems like it at times!), learned to become farmers (sorta) and a half dozen other things. So when he plans a night out at the opera for us, it’s more than just a “date night.” It’s a reminder that despite all the craziness in our lives, at the end of the day, we still choose each other. (And when we get into a fit of giggles during a serious part in the opera, it’s a reminder than we never laugh as hard as we do when we are together)
