Shannon Elizabeth Instagram – We found this sweet little water Dikkop in our yard the other day. He couldn’t fly & a cat was stalking him. So we were able to bring him in & care for him until we could find the right expert to take him & give him everything he needs. Yesterday we finally found @tweettweetrescue who is now giving him lots of food, meds, & warmth so that he can be released once he’s fully recovered. I know dogs & rhinos, but caring for birds is very new to me. I knew I wasn’t the fight person for the job, but I like to believe the Universe guided the Dikkop to us so that we could find that rescue for him & potentially others. And now I’m going to look into getting certified here so that I am better equipped to help other animals in need in the future. My mission on this planet is to help the animals…so every experience teaches & guides me so that I can hopefully get better & better at that. 🙏🏼 Thank you to Danika at Tweet Tweet Rescue for all of the incredible work you do with garden birds of so many species!
