Sharmin Segal Instagram – Sharmin Segal (@sharminsegal) debuted in the film industry as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013 before going on to star in Malaal in 2019. She spoke about her long-standing relationship with the director and how he constantly challenges her, “From the first day that I have known Mr. Bhansali as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 10 years ago when I started working with him as an assistant, he constantly challenged me. So in Heeramandi, one of the main thing what that he expects you to always exceed. So if I think I’m offering my best, he’ll expect way beyond what I think my best is. I think that’s one of the biggest things with Mr. Bhansali.”
