Which is what it feels like for me when I’m in a room full of people touched by cancer. It’s instant connection and love and understanding like no other.
This horrible disease is an epidemic that keeps growing and touching people younger and younger. So grateful to be in community and partnership with @preventcancer who are doing life saving work. They not only advocated for April to be Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Month, but they got the Congressional Families together to champion cures.
Humbled that they asked me to speak but even more deeply indebted to know some of the brilliant minds on the front lines. 🙏🏽
