Shirley Chung Instagram – Wow! What a beautiful 2 days with @visitcalifornia. California really showed off. The sun was shining, the crowd was great and I got the chance to emcee some fun chef demos!
We made gourmet grilled cheeses with @dominiquecrenn (not-so-secret ingredient: French butter!).
@stephanie.boswell taught us how to make luxurious miso caramel.
@chfshirleychung showed us how to make her craveable @innout-inspired cheeseburger potstickers.
And @duffgoldman rolled out some cardamom pistachio Laddu cookies and showed us why cargo shorts are a pastry chef’s best friend. You have to watch.
We all talked about how unique California’s culinary scene is and how lucky we are to have access to local farmers’ markets year-round. California really does have it all when it comes to attracting visitors from all over the world.
