I came to realize he was not merely an exceptional musician but also a fervent activist, relentlessly advocating for justice and freedom. It was just a year ago in Stockholm, Sweden, that I had the profound privilege of introducing him on stage at the “A Call for Freedom” concert. That moment remains etched in my heart, a testament to the indelible impact he has had on my life. Today, my heart is fragmented, mourning the loss of this incredible soul to cancer.
