Shoshana Bush Instagram – I told my dad I wanted to quit acting and he said I was crazy. The truth is, it’s a hard life to sustain while keeping your mental health stable and strong. These are glimpses of auditions I’ve either never heard back from, went as straight offers to celebrities, or spent $250 on a 1 hr coaching to then be told the project is shelved. Some of these have no one in the room and I’m making eye contact with a wall I’m supposed to have chemistry with, while others I’ve had less than 24hrs to prepare with 12 pages of sides. And there are certainly the ones Ive had enough time with, did a proud job doing and I just wasn’t the one. It’s fucking tough guys. So really this is a nod to my fellow actors that keep being told no and are doing great work and just haven’t had their shot. I’m grateful I get to have fun bringing these characters to life as my job and shout out to my boys @ajuliomacias @mr_georgeelliott @brandonxhowell @petepoznanski @jared_schwartz_50 and my girl @ashleyelainewilson who put me on tape and who have dealt with my neuroses to get the perfect take.
